Good morning and happy Tuesday to all!

With Monday comes the opportunity to be happy about many things: rush hour traffic, NBC’s Heroes and Studio 60, and of course the return of the Morning Announcements after a one day hiatus! With Tuesday… comes nothing special. So while we weren’t saving any cheerleaders last night, we will be spewing some news today…

Let’s get on with it!

The Simpson’s Trailer is Online (via Filmstalker)
Who hasn’t been waiting for this one? Televisions most prolific show - ever - is being turned into a movie that Simpsons fans will either love or loath. With that yet to be determined, we were given a trailer to oggle. You can check it out over at Apple Trailers and in HD as well.

Borat participants are not very excite. (via USA Today)
The fallout from this year’s runaway comedy smash Borat has been like nuclear winter, only less radiation poisoning and more entertaining. More of the folks who helped Sacha Baron Cohen show off the “frills” of America are speaking out against Borat, saying they were duped. Duped into what? Showing off what idiots Americans are. You should really be hiding under a rock, people!

Scarlett Johannson is Box Office Poison. (via The Guardian)
Wait… She acts? Oh my, what a revelation. Until now I was sure that Scarlett Johannson was just part of the movie to give it a certain “enhancement” similar to Cialis or Viagra. But all jokes aside, The Guardian’s Joe Queenan has some theories on how bad Ms. Johannson can be for a film.

Beyonce and Eva to get it on. On Screen! (via JoBlo)
Both Beyonce Knowles and Eva Longoria are set to star in the film Tipping the Velvet, which is said to be a Brokeback Mountain for lesbians - only sexier. Set to direct is Sophia Coppola, who needs a little positive controversy after she butchered Marie Antoinette.

Lohan loses a Teardrop Diamond. (via Filmstalker)
Lindsay Lohan will star in a Tennessee Williams film adaption called The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. She will star alongside David Straithairn. She will most likely be just ok…

That is the news for your Tuesday. For those readers out there from Ohio, Happy Beat Michigan Week! For those readers from Michigan… I got nothing.
