I have seen every episode of The Goode Family and I like what I've seen so far but it's obvious the show hasn't found its rhythm just yet which makes sense because it's only the first season. I think the channel and the time slot are a major reason the show hasn't found an audience. I don't think it would be extremely successful if it was on another network but I feel like it would have a better chance of success. On ABC its going to get cancelled soon, on another network it would probably
air for at least four seasons before being cancelled.

Saw one episode of Goode Family and, yes, it's intersting and funny. I definitely had the “wtf is this doing on ABC primetime” feeling, can't justify why I did, it just happened. There's a cringe factor that the show has that I haven't seen in Judge since Office Space (but looks to be in Extract) that comes from spotlighting the absurdity of the audiences' own life situations. Never seen King of the Hill, the southern suburb thing is completely lost on me.

i sounded just like Butthead when i was a kid. after that show started, everyone asked me why i was trying to sound like him! i had to completely change my diction because of it.
