Will Michelle Monaghan appear as the seductive Silver Fox in the upcoming movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine? We sure hope so.

We already know that Monaghan, most notable for her breakout role as the neo-noir femme Harmony Faith Lane in the 2005 cult hit Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Robert Downy, Jr., Val Kilmer)… and I guess she’s kind of well known now for her role alongside Scientology freak Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible III… has the goods and the will to play Hugh Jackman’s love interest, but does she have the time?

In an interview with ComingSoon.net about her upcoming movie Eagle Eye (set for release this August), Monaghan confirmed that she’s up for the role. “We’ll see,” Monaghan said. “They have asked me to do it. It would be fun. I really like Hugh Jackman, and it is a great franchise. We will have to work on the dates, and see if there are any conflicts.”

So modest, Michelle. As far as I’m concerned, her name is already written in the credits. If Monaghan doesn’t appear as the Silver Fox, I’m boycotting the movie. And I love Hugh Jackman. He’s so dreamy…
