Looking at the trailers he's doing just that: there's barely a glimpse of a human in them and at this rate Transformers 3 will feature none at all. Which is fine by me, a CGI pot plant has more depth and character than Shia LaBeouf.

So… didn't he just say that there are a lot of new robots in this movie? And that's still not good enough?

Personally, I think there has always been a road map for this franchise — first film plays it safe, tells a human perspective story and introduces us to the Transformers (gotta get John Q. Mainstream Moviegoer if you want to pay for those effects). Second film rolls into a more robot-centric story. This is fine by me, and what I'm expecting from the second one.

Michael Bay needs to actually watch the original cartoons and discover that the shows were about the TRANSFORMERS not the humans. Fuck Spike and his eye candy never happen girl friend, and tell the story all the true Transformer fans want.
