I've liked Samuel L. Jackson since his re-birth in Pulp Fiction. Sam Jackson can, I think, play anyone. The only problem seems to be he's playing everyone and I do mean that the way it sounds.

I would say that the final outcome of these films will hinge on the directors. Jackson can play Nick Fury, but can the people making the films use him properly? The hitch in the plan though could be one stinker out of the nine films being made, like dominos if one falls it could ruin the other films outcome.
