Best Actress In the Buff

Not too long ago, on this very site, I took some hits at Best Actress Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard for the stupid things she said a year ago about 9/11 and the moon landing. I also took a jab at her in the title of my story by calling her a “certified French nutjob.”

Well, one of our readers took issue with the fact that I singled her out by nationality. And this person did have a point. Being French doesn’t make her a nutjob. Thinking that the U.S. government blew up the World Trade Center and blamed it on Bin Laden and saying that men didn’t really land on the moon… that makes her a nutjob.

So, in the spirit of more positive commentary, I now praise her nationality. And in particular, I praise the sexual openness of the French culture. After all, were it not for this freedom of expression, she would never have made a little French film called Affaire Privée (aka A Private Affair in English).

The beauty of the French actress is that they make these movies that show off all of their jumbly bits on their way up the ladder. The American actresses tend to take off their skivvies on their way down. (See the Lindsay Lohan article from a few weeks ago.)

So take a gander at this somewhat poorly edited, unsqueezed montage of Affaire Privée, courtesy of our friends over at Daily Motion. Who the hell knows what the movie’s about. It’s got the hot future Oscar-winner baring her sparkling breasts for the world to see.

Ooh, la, la!

Again, to quote Cotillard’s orgasmic Oscar acceptance: “I’m speechless.”
