I walked into the cinema thinking this would be classic 'Death Wish' remake and I was going to add it to the avoid like the plague list along with Taxi, Alfie, The Italian Job, Gone in 60 Seconds and other films corprate Hollywood have ruined over the years rather than getting of their backsides and writing something new. I'm so glad I was wrong. Totally and completely wrong. Ok so the basis of the plot are very similar but the way this character developes is like watching the Punisher and Saw films at the same time with a hint of the Crow added for good measure. Very violent but at no point did I feel the violence was unjustified. I won't give anything else away. Just watch this film. Five stars.

Damn…. personally I don't think I would have taken it that far.I hate it when people talk through a movie that you've payed your hard earned dollars to watch in the first place.Their was an situation when I was trying to watch Quantom of Salace their was a annoying ass teenager sitting way in the back,causing such a racket.After about 20 min. in the words of Popeye "I cant stands no more" so I told that little shit "Hey!!! Either shut the f@#k up,or I'll go back there and beat the horse-shit out of you!!!"I swear to God I was about to go John Mclane and shoe beat his ass .But after that he kept his mouth shut for the rest of the movie.

That's Philly for ya! You would be surprisd how many "CHILDREN" dictate to their parents what they want to see at the movies. I left the theatre the other day and overheard a mom tell her son, "No 13 yr old of mine is going to the movies alone". I don't know what's worse the kids talking or the "ADULTS" taking a stupid non emergency phone call. Where is Ms. Manners when you REALLY need her?
