Lindsay Pleas Down to One Day
Movie News By Maggie Van Ostrand on August 23, 2007 | Be the First To Comment
Lindsay Lohan struck a plea bargain on drunk driving and cocaine charges, netting her one day in jail, 10 days community service, 36 months probation, another stint in rehab and, saving the best for last, do a 3-day course with the coroner at the morgue and talk to drunk driver victims. Oh, and she has to pay a fine.
The plea deal was reached Thursday August 23rd, reports the New York Post.
“No matter what I said when I was under the influence on the day I was arrested, I am not blaming anyone else for my conduct other than myself. I thank God I did not injure others. I easily could have,” Lohan’s said in a statement released by her Public Relations person, Leslie Sloane Zelnick.
If there’s a next time, and she appears before a film-loving judge who saw her in I Know Who Killed Me, perhaps he’ll sentence her to 6 months at the Actors Studio.
