Lexi Alexander’s ‘See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil’ monkeys are still sitting on her personal blog, and there’s nothing new on the Punisher: War Zone front aside from the ‘he said/she said/Knowles said’ back and forth that we reported on a few days back… so about some positive Lexi news?
MTV Movies Blog spoke with producer Deborah Del Prete, who worked with Alexander on Green Street Hooligans, and she gave a sneak peek at the duo’s next project. Del Prete says they’re “working on a fantasy picture. There is a book, it’s a British book. It’s not super well-known. I don’t think you’ll guess what it is. It’s contemporary.”
So there you have it. Lexi Alexander is directing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Or not… anyone have a guess as to what British fantasy book it could really be? Note that Del Prete didn’t say children’s fantasy, just fantasy. Would a studio give Alexander any kind of sizable budget with the current state of the Punisher: War Zone production?
