Leslie Mann and Elizabeth Banks Planning a Hedonistic Ski Trip

Variety is reporting today that New Line has purchased the rights to a female-driven comedy pitch called What Was I Thinking? with producer Lynda Obst (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days) and stars Leslie Mann and Elizabeth Banks attached. The film will be based on a book of the same name by Barbara Davilman and Liz Dubelman, which follows the comedic adventures of four girlfriends who take a hedonistic ski trip after one of them gets dumped.
And for those familiar with the concept of hedonism, this project just got that much more interesting. Though I’m almost certain that the film — which is being written by Susanna Fogel and Joni Lefkowitz — will likely contain a glossy, Hollywood PG-13 version of hedonism as opposed to the version that instantly popped into my head as I read over this story. But hey, a guy can always dream.
