My guess is John Landis won’t be allowed within one hundred yards of the set…

Variety is reporting that Leonardo DiCaprio has partnered his production company, Appian Way, with Warner Bros. on a new Twilight Zone feature film.  They’ve hired Rand Ravich (The Astronaut’s Wife) to write the screenplay.  And that’s all the info currently available…

As is often the case the unanswered questions are the always the most interesting.  Will DiCaprio serve as host in the new film?  Driving into a scene in his little EV electric car to introduce each segment?  And about the segments… will they be updated versions of known episodes similar to what they did with the 1983 feature film or will they be entirely new stories?  Will Vic Morrow reprise his role as a racist in need of a haircut?  The film currently has no production date so it may be a while before we find out.

Are you excited about a new Twilight Zone movie?  Which episodes do you want to see on the big screen?
