If you’ve been paying attention to the trades, and I’ll forgive you if you haven’t, you’ve noticed that the Screen Gem’s flick Legion recently announced a full deck of cards when it comes to the cast (detailed below). Well, we can give you one more name that they have officially given you yet - character actor and green screen dynamo extraordinaire Doug Jones. While you may not recognize the face, surely you’ve seen the characters. He’s been a part of both Hellboy films, Fantastic Four 2, and Pan’s Labyrinth.
No word yet on what exactly he’ll be doing in the film, but apparently Jones’ is either a lock, or very close to a lock, for the film Legion. This flick about angels protecting Earth from the wrath of God also stars: Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Tenney, Charles S. Dutton , Lucas Black, Kate Walsh, Adrianne Palicki, Kevin Durand, Willa Holland and Paul Bettany.
Now that is a mouthful! Stay tuned for more Legion news.

Doug’s role is quite an interesting one in this and I look forward very much to seeing the film. Great stuff!
However, Doug is not a ‘green-screen dynamo’ - that implies motion capture, which is something Doug has not done in a feature film to date. He is, however, an extraordianry actor, especially under extreme prosthetics, and isn’t known as the Lon Chaney of the 21st Century for nothing.
