KungFuKid

Even despite what I’m hoping is endearingly well-written sarcasm on her part, the new pictures from Karate Kid remake The Kung Fu Kid were posted up over at Latino Review by the always-talented Genevieve “ScarletScribe” Blaber who totally didn’t vomit while looking at them. A coup for her, but Kelvin from the site wasn’t so lucky, and he made that clear on the twitter (and I have to assume he was being literal as Twitter frowns on hyperbole).

So at least one person has regurgitated because of these pictures.

Do you dare see them for yourself?

Of course you do! They’re probably in full view as we speak considering our sleek page layout!

I bravely avoiding throwing up, but I didn’t bravely avoid forming an opinion which I’ll deliver picture by picture.

  1. Montage!
  2. Rejected clip from Kidz Bop version of “Just the Two of Us” music video.
  3. Holy shit, he’s the one. That’s actually really impressive, and I now feel bad for being a judgmental asshole.
  4. Rejected clip from real version of “Just the Two of Us” music video.

Now that damned song is stuck in my head.

Buildin’ castles in the skyyyyy! What do you think?

Do what I do. When I know it's gonna suck, as nearly all remakes and most sequels do, I simply don't go, or I go believing it's gonna suck and if it does NOT suck, when then I am delightfully surprised!

Now that they decided to market this movie as a karate kid remake rather than a stand alone flim people atr going to compare it to the karate kid so unless god sprinkled his divine jizz on this fil its going to suck, suck, suck.

Hey, no one asked this yet....Who is gonna play Johnny? "Yeah get him a body bag Johnny YEAHHHHHH! ha ha ha ha"

Boring remake without any of the elements that make the first one a favorite for its time.

Will Smith only cares about making himself look good, and I would't doubt he makes a cameo in the film.

This movie will make money. It will most likely suck. Kids will love it and they will never know it's a remake.

I really didn't care for the movie or the original at all. Not really good or any sort of good in any realm. I just wish they would stop with using the bloody name when it doesn't even co-inside with the original. LOL! Its Hollywood and another YARM (Yet Another Re-Make)

Its probably guud for the kiddies with ice cream and popcorn.
  • This film is going to ruin the original. Hollywood needs to quit ruining my childhood memories. /hyperbole
  • Guest
you are crazy it wont ruin the original cause the original is alway there. stop acting like a big baby
  • The "/hyperbole" was put there for a reason. I am over-exaggerating and mocking those who always say that remakes ruin the originals and their memories from childhood. In fact, I saw a comment on /Film today that said just that regarding this very story.

sorry my bad. when i just saw you put "This film is going to ruin the original. Hollywood needs to quit ruining my childhood memories." i got little P Off cause everyone on the net keep on saying the movie will ruin the original or even its going to rape my childhood. people are getting worked up for nothing i mean look at Jaden its impressive that he does a kick like that even Ralph Macchio in the Karate Kid could not do that. or even people who are crying like big babies could never do a kick like that at all.
