Juno Deleted Scene: Michael Cera Can Be More Awkward
Movie News By Neil Miller on March 24, 2008 | (2) Comments
Question. What is the most anticipated DVD of the spring? Answer. Juno. Duh.
On April 15th, Fox Searchlight will bring the indie sensation, four time Oscar nominated Juno to DVD retail outlets everywhere, and those of us who have been Jonesing for more Juno will finally get our just desserts. The clip below, titled “Cafe Triste” has been released by Fox Searchlight today to help build the buzz for the upcoming release. It features our preggers heroine Juno, played by Ellen Page, performing in a one-woman show at a local cafe. Her song, as you will notice, is directed almost exclusively toward Paulie Bleaker, played by Michael Cera, who awkwardly sits and takes his punishment next to Leah, played by Olivia Thirlby.
The scene is unfinished, as I’m sure the other 10 on the DVD are, but it is still worth a look.
My question: Can Michael Cera be any more awkward? I think not.
