Joon-ho Bong’s ‘Mother’ Teases Us With Video and Wall Decoration
Movie News By Rob Hunter on March 27, 2009 | (7) Comments
As a convenient companion piece to our interview with Joon-ho Bong today, Wildgrounds.com posted a new teaser trailer as well as two new posters for the director’s upcoming thriller Mother. (Thanks to Twitch for the heads-up.) The teaser is only thirty seconds long and combines film and behind-the-scenes footage. And it’s in Korean with no subtitles. But I’ll take what I can get at this point… Check it out below along with two new posters for the film.
Mother is about a woman who’s son is wrongfully accused and imprisoned for a brutal crime and her efforts to prove his innocence. We’re led to believe these “efforts” consist of more than just badgering her congressman or appearing on a Nancy Grace-like show. She sets out to find the true murderer which apparently involves kite flying, belly rubbing, running through the woods, and standing in the rain. Typical Joon-ho Bong themes.
