There are now two ways about this — Jason Statham is doing another movie in which he gets to kill a lot of people. And there’s nothing you can do about it.
According to Variety, Statham has signed on to the moderately budgeted action thriller The Killer Elite, a film based on the best selling book “The Feathermen,” by Ranulph Fiennes.
The story follows a group of former British special forces members who are being hunted by assassins. Statham will play a former Navy Seal who is forced out of retirement to save a close friend.
The film will begin shooting (get it, shooting) in the fall in areas around London, Paris and Australia. Gary McKendry, a director primarily known for his work in commercials, will be at the helm. Statham is currently working on the Sly Stallone directed actioner The Expendables.
