This week, Japanese actor Ken Watanabe introduced and narrated a brand new international trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Inception. And thanks to the wonders of the internet, we’re also seeing it here in the rest of the world. While I have no idea what he’s saying at the end of this trailer, we can assume that it does like this: “Inception will absolutely blow your mind, yo.” At least that’s what he is saying in my mind.

The trailer (embedded below) is filled with a lot of previously seen footage, but once again it’s impressive to see that footage cut together in a way that still feels fresh. I would posit that we’re still only seeing about 10% of the film, based on Christopher Nolan’s previous films and their marketing. Which leads me to believe that much of what could make Inception special still lies beneath the surface. That’s a lovely thought, is it not?

Inception is in theaters July 16, 2010.
