It might be the point, but not a point that really needs to be made. :) Just my feeling on the subject...

"however Pride and Predator sounds ridiculously stupid."
But isn't that the point here? I think I'll have to see it just for the two-hour belly laugh, assuming it actually gets made.

Alien Karenina and Pumpkinhead Wilson were good. I make no apologies for them. But clearly the best thing to come out of this news are these fake titles. There are some good ones in these comments.

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil Aliens? A Black Christmas Carol? A Tale of Two City Slickers? War and I Come in Peace? Anyone who gets the I Come in Peace reference and remembers that movie is cool in my book. I'm so pumped about these fake titles I could haiku:

Hollywood Consumes
All Classic Literature.
Excretes Blockbusters.

I had to read this a few times to make sure I understood it correctly – Pride and Predator? What is Elton John thinking? Sure, he has a big musical fan base – just read some reader written reviews at EverHype (or add your own at www.everhype.com/?utm_source=bc) but this movie just sounds silly. But then again, maybe it’ll work because it’s so silly.

I'm a huge Austen fan and adore Pride and Prejudice; however Pride and Predator sounds ridiculously stupid. I have a sense of humor and it's not as if this movie would ruin anything be it book or film, but on a whole I think the idea is lame. Now, the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies sounds like a hilarious read and I'd totally check out the movie.

RobertFure - it's painfully obvious how long you spent on that, and if any of it was really that good, you wouldn't need to state it. Go write a blog.

This all sounds a little too unbelievable. What's next? The Call of Where the Wild Things Are? The Adventures of Tom Saw VI? Alien Karenina? Pumpkinhead Wilson?

You've got to give me that last one, that was good.

Wow. This sounds ... strangely awesome. However I think "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" has a leg up, creatively, on "Pride and Predator."
