The international distribution arm of Walt Disney has released the international for Pixar’s next animated adventure, Up. And as these things go, we’ve got it for your viewing pleasure. The trailer isn’t completely new — in fact, there is a lot of footage here that we’ve seen in previous spots — but there is no reason why we shouldn’t want to watch it all again. That, and there’s a really cute moment in which young wilderness explorer Russell (Jordan Nagai) begs Mr. Fredrickson (Ed Asner) to let him keep a talking dog. And when he’s turned down he shouts, “but its a TALKING DOG!” Awesome, gets me every time.

Up hits theaters on May 29, 2009.

  • I think this film aims to bring the waterworks to it's audience members, just like Monster's Inc. did.
  • Looks great.
  • I still don't see any rational argument against keeping that talking dog.
  • Nice clip, nice dog :-).

(Btw., dId Pixar really not create the villain of the movie after the image of Kirk Douglas? He just looks like him...)
