His movies may be among the worst I've ever seen, but ultimately no harm is done by his making them. If he keeps making them, I can still choose not to watch them, but if he stops, I won't have that choice. Plus there's entertainment value in the sheer, undiluted hatred the man generates. Are we really ready to say goodbye to that? I for one don’t want him to go away. His movies may be among the worst I’ve ever seen, but ultimately no harm is done by his making them. If he keeps making them, I can still choose not to watch them, but if he stops, I won’t have that choice.
