haha so ya, basically i just NOW! watched cloverfield, and so i wanted to learn more about the ending and everything, so i googled some stuff, and my mind just exploded with everyhting everyone was saying

if you havnt seen the movie you prolly shouldnt read on until youve seen the ending

there was stuff like some satelite falls from space or something and awakes the creature in the very last scene at coney island

then theres all this talk about this Slusho! that it some how mutated or created this moster... which to me makes little sense, theres one question that i ve been trying to figure out, how can anyone figure this out from watching the movie?

-and of course the 2 monster thoery which i personally believe

the only thing i could figure out is that Rob is prolly going to work for Slusho since that all fits, ive also seen the satelite falling (or watever that is) in the last scene

i honestly dont want to know if all that is true, but if people are saying its true, i want to know how tehy know its true becuase the movie says nothing about where it came from it just seems like people are connecting lines where dots dont exist

The weird Slusho commercial, though probably not accessible through the DVD root menu, is on the DVD. I found it in the Video TS folder while "open"ing the DVD in "my computer." There were also other material too, like Jamie Lescano's obsessive video diaries and the drilling station news report. No joke.

Slusho IS actually connected through an extremely complex series of ... connections.
The drink's special ingredient (Nectar of the Sea, I believe is the term) is distributed by
a company ( I've forgotten the name, but trust me) that is based in Japan.
Rob is moving to Japan for work with this company, so intense, informed, EDUCATED speculation states that the ingredient causes strange mutations, or the monster is some sort of guardian of the 'undersea ingredient.' Its a big, fun, alternate reality game that is completely based on clues found on the internet and real life occurrences.
