Is Harley Quinn in The Dark Knight?

For those not familiar with the character of Harley Quinn, she is the psychotic girlfriend of Batman’s nemesis The Joker. And with Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Dark Knight, we already know that it will include a major storyline with The Joker, played by the late Heath Ledger. This fact as led fans of Batman lore to wonder whether the sinister babe will make an appearance, and now we may have the answer. An online resume for actress Sarah Jayne Dunn lists her appearance in The Dark Knight, but also lists her character’s name as “Harley Quinn”.

Dunn’s listing on IMDB shows no character name for her Dark Knight performance, it just says “actress”.

This is a development that will be of interest to hardcore Batman fans, as Harley Quinn is a particularly fun character. It will be interesting to see if she plays a large role in the film (i.e. as The Joker’s girlfriend) or if she is just one speck in his sea of minions. As well, as some have speculated, Harley Quinn could be a character used in future sequels to carry on the legacy of The Joker, especially after the tragic loss of Heath Ledger, whose performance is rumored to be beyond stellar.

Time will tell whether Dunn will be all dressed up in some serious Harley Quinn gear, but here’s holding out hope.

She is Harley Quinn. I've seen the movie allready. She appears at the end as Dr. Harleen Quinzel. Beatric Rozen plays Natascha a bussian ballet dancer that hangs out with Bruce.

you said you saw harley quinn at the end of the DArk KNight, was this a pre-screening you saw and was the clip cut out by Nolan?

no she isnt in the movie tho there was a mention of the jokers wife n how she left him but thats the only mention that i notaced that could be harley quinn tho shes soposed 2 meet him in the asylum as his doc and i remember hearing rumors about joker meeting her in the asylum at the end when the movie was being made kinda dissapointed me that tha part wasnt in it so maby that part will be added in another movie if they make 1 hopefully its a poison ivy n harley quinn duo or add tha seen in tha blu-ray dvd

I dont think so...however i may have to see the movie again. It would be neat to put harley in the next movie. I however am holding up hope that my new fav sharp shooter makes it in. Holiday

I was kinda hoping that she'd appear in The Dark Knight, since duh you have a Joker one thing missing is harley but sadly she wasn't in it..:( Maybe she'll be mentioned but not seen, I hope she'll be in it but the only I've heard so far that will appear are The Riddler and The Penguin.:)

Harley Quinn had nothing to do with The Dark Knight comics. She was only in the Animated series. They might just throw her in the new movie anyways though. It would be cool to see her in a Darker light =) lol

Uhhh, actually MjZombie, she most certainly IS in the comics. She even has her own series. She may have started out in the animated series, but that doesn't mean she never appeared again.

I am A big fan to the batman frenchise, and i havn't seen or heard anything about the joker and harley in the dark knight i have seen it numerous of times and i would love to see the ivy and quinn duo breakin out of the asylum due to a escape attempt by the riddler and the scarecrow also i would love to see bale back in batman 3 as he is fit to be the charater of the worlds greatest detetive. my polt line: batman has just finshed putting joker down into arkhum for good while on the way there the scarecrow has injected him with his nightmare syrup that him and riddler have been testing for years. then ivy grows strong and takes over the asylum with her nature powers while harley is angry about jokers death she join the 3 in a ecsape attempt witch goes right .. post ur thoughts
