There is a little film out there working its way to the big screen that I hadn’t heard of until just today, and thanks to Variety, I was able to track down the trailer. My reaction was this: Holy shit this looks awesome! The movie is Iron Sky and it’s the story of what happens when a group of Nazis, who set up a moon base in 1945, decide in 2018 that it’s time to come back to Earth – and dominate it.

Hot young actress Julia Dietze has been tapped to play a moon Nazi who is sent as an advanced scout to the Earth to determine if the time for invasion is now. I’ll admit to not being familiar with her German work, but I can assure you she is sufficiently hot.

If you’re not totally stoked, let me offer up three bits of evidence as to why this is going to be awesome.

  1. Julia Dietze is playing a hot space Nazi on the moon.
  2. “Julia is a perfect opposite to the testosterone-filled Nazis and massive space battles the film’s visual imagery consists mainly of,” said “Iron Sky” helmer Timo Vuorensola.
  3. Watch this trailer.

I rest my case.
