Iron Man 3 does not drop into theaters until May 3, 2013, but seeing as it’s the next movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s safe to assume that all eyes will be watching. Those eyes will likely by glued to Apple.com/Trailers on Tuesday, when Marvel and Disney will release the first full length trailer for the Shane Black-directed threequel. But first, that trailer must have its own teaser. Why? Because that’s the way of the world, friends.
Then again, are we really here to complain about another look at that gorgeous new Iron Man armor, at Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and his new haircut, at Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) in trouble again, at Ben Kingsley’s Mandarin ponytail, or even whatever that massive air battle sequence is going to be? No, we’re not going to complain. Teasers for trailers is a silly practice, but we’ll let this one slide.
