Iron Man 2: New Suit, New Enemies, Same Attitude

Seeing as it has been more than a few weeks since we wrote anything about 2010’s first big film Iron Man 2 and everything seems to be about Avatar these days, the folks at Paramount and Marvel have given us something to talk about. The upcoming issue of Empire magazine will feature our tin-headed hero, who broke out with the 2008 Jon Favreau-directed blockbuster starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. This time, he’s got a new suit and new enemies, but as we see here — he’s still got the same attitude. As a fan of the first film, a statement such as that brings warmth to my heart.

Iron Man 2 will also star Don Cheadle, Mickey Rourke, Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson and Sam Rockwell. It is due in theaters on May 7, 2010. Check out the new Empire cover below, found via Geek Tyrant.
