hey guys poster is mehhh i suggest everyone read the script (fucking insane) as for the scar around his neck QT stated awhile ago that Raine would be bearing a scar from an attempting hanging but would not delve into it in the film at least that was the original idea, but because of the interest in various promo shots i imagine a brief flashback will remedy that

In Hang 'em High Clint was unjustly hanged. But "When you hang someone, make sure to hang 'em high!" and they didn't, so he survived and became a Marshall to track down and kill all those responsible.

I think Pitt just has a scar from some Nazi bastards, who he will probably want to kill, but I doubt QT was thinking of HeH when he wrote that. I'm sure there are some semi-obscure Japanese films instead.
