I am greatly looking forward to this film. I thought Death Proof was awesome (though I didn't like the first group of girls (and was greatly happy when they died)) and I'm certain this will be too.
As for people complaining that its all talk, have you ever seen a Tarantino film before?? If the dialogue is awesome then it's not a problem. He is a director that makes movies that he would want to watch. Which is why I respect him and his films.

And if the Basterds take a back seat role in the film then I can forgive that. As long as Pitt and the others step up then it will all work. Counting down till Q-Day

We also heard that John Connor wasn't going to be in Terminator: Salvation much, but Bale had a ton of screentime.

I heard that too but the latest 'word on the street' (read internet) is that the re-edits were asked to beef up the Basterds role to a more even keel with Shosanna. Regardless this will be awesome. Not looked forward to a QT film like this for a while.

I've heard that the Basterds are like supporting cast in the film, that they aren't focused on much, so the trailer is deceitful.
