Indiana Jones Trailer, A Perfect Valentine’s Day Gift

Indiana Jones has been a ghost for nearly 20 years, only appearing in our memories and DVD players. We all thought we might get to catch a glimpse of him during the SuperBowl, but we did get to see Iron Man instead. So what is Paramount and Lucasfilm cooking up for us on Valentine’s Day?
Variety reports that Paramount and Lucasfilm has placed the first teaser trailer in front of Paramount’s upcoming flick The Spiderwick Chronicles. So why is it that we have seen footage from both Iron Man and The Dark Knight nearly a year before their releases, and nothing from Indy?
Other than the fact that principal shooting just wrapped and Paramount and Lucasfilm want to make a splash, and not fall face-first. “In the case of Indiana Jones, he’s such a well-known character that it’s not like you have to get out there and introduce something new,” said Spielberg spokesman Marvin Levy. “You tailor the campaign to the material. We also want to keep a lot of the surprises. That’s part of the fun.”
Well come Valentine’s Day, there will be no more surprises…wait there actually will be. The trailer will be a teaser, so expect those little hairs on your arms to stand up with excitement. Just a thought, take your girlfriend to the movie. I don’t think that she’d like you going to a movie all by yourself on Valentine’s Day.
