Incredible Hulk Story Details Hit the Web
Movie News By Neil Miller on October 2, 2007 | (2) Comments
Leave it to our amigos over at Latino Review to be the ones to break this Incredible Hulk thing wide open. They seem to be very sneaky when it comes to locking down scripts to big projects and extracting all of the spoilerific details, much to the delight of the wanderers of the interwebs. Their superspy, codename “Clutch”, the same snoop who allegedly outed Heath Ledger as the Joker and George Miller as the director of the upcoming JLA film, has gotten his hands on Ed Norton’s first draft for the new Hulk film, which is currently shooting in Toronto.
So what does the spy report say? Well, we will leave most of the revealing for those who worked hard to get the scoop. Plus, we don’t want to spoil it for you if you don’t want to be exposed to such details. But know this, there are some cool plot points that include Bruce Banner in Brazil, some gamma injected rodents and some sort of Abomination.
From his comments about the script, “Clutch” seems to like Norton’s version of the tale. He specifically calls out the fact that it sets up a series very well, making it easy to see where a Hulk trilogy or possible Avengers flick could be easily spun off. This jives with Ed Norton’s comments at Comic Con this year, where he talked about telling less of an origin story, but still setting up for more than just a one film story. If all of this is true, then I’m getting a little more excited about this project by the day.

The Incredible Hulk will also star Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, William Hurt, Tim Blake Nelson and Christina Cabot. Louis Leterrier (The Transporter) is directing. The film is set for release on June 13, 2008.
