All I can say after watching this trailer is, I am ready for the next trailer.

From what I see so far, I don't think this will be another TDK ($1 billion).
I know it's too early to predict but people usually don't get interested in such movies. Maximum worldwide collection for this movie would be $500 million or less. Most if it is due to the power of Nolan and a bit from Leo.

Nolan has the Kubrick esque' deal with Warners. They are letting him do whatever because they know they have their meal ticket with Nolan. Look at the returns for TDK…they'll let him do whatever he wants. This movie might not bank alot or come close to TDK box office which every one will be speculating *ahem* FSR *ahem* but give the guy a break. He's making his “Prestige” movie and then going back to Batman (hpefully). Take notice Sam Raimi! You should've done that awful Drag Me To Hell after Spiderman 2.

I'm actually a fan of DiCaprio and think he is a good actor and am glad he is in this film

but even if someone didn't think that way, I think you have to assume the studio insisted on a big star for this type of film. keep in mind they are allowing him to make this film instead of starting on the third batman film, so they want something in return and something to help ensure the movie makes money, i.e. Dicaprio in the film.

but again, i think he's in the film because his acting justifies it.

Actually, I think he's a good choice. Leo DiCaprio has grown a lot as an actor since his Titanic days. He's already proven that he can do thrillers with The Departed, so more power to him.

At least he's not going back to the Christian Bale well again. He's a good actor, but it's nice to branch out.
