sexscenes.jpgThe only thing I love more than a good movie is some great sex. When you add hot sex to an awesome film, it’s almost like you can hear the hinges of the universe rattling. It’s as if the fabric of the cosmos simply cannot contain that much awesomeness. It’s almost better than sex. Except not. Unless you’re not getting any. In which case it is obviously preferable. Then again, if you’re sex-starved, porn is usually the more readily-sought solution. I, like most modern red-blooded American males, enjoy a good lesbian romp through the baby oil on occasion myself.

What was I talking about?

Oh. Yeah.

The Independent Film Channel website has posted a list of what it believes to be the Top 50 Sex Scenes of All Time. The list includes some shockers. LAST TANGO IN PARIS isn’t included, for instance. And a favorite of mine, THE SECRETARY, ranks surprisingly high. I have only one minor complaint about the list: seeing as how it pretty much turned lesbianism into a pop culture movement, I would think BOUND deserves a little more love.

A little more… lady love.

Anyway, IFC collaborated with Nerve.com to compile the list, which you can drool over by clicking HERE.
