I mean,,,,the special edition came with a alternative ending (WARNING!!! SPOILER HERE!!!…WARNING):If you remember the theaters version,Robert (Smith) sacrifice this life in the end of the movie..in the dvd version he’s show to the leader of the zombies the change of the zombie he’s catch..so the movie end leaving the city with the girl and the kid looking for another survivors…so why warner bros. don’t use this ending???…why a prequel???…not screw this movie guys!!!..please.

Aleric–

I bet in the prequel he doesn’t even HAVE any automatic weapons. But he learns that he NEEDS to carry them throughout the course of the film. Weren’t the best scenes in I Am Legend the scenes with Will and the dog hunting and surviving? I don’t know if I want to see the world end, but it would be interesting to bring back Jodie Foster in a larger role (she was in the opening, right?)

Hmm, perhaps in the prequal he will take more than 1 magazine of ammunition with him so he can reload and not just throw the M4A3 on the group when it runs out.

I support a prequel, I’m curious to see as how the virus spread and the world came to an end. Plus, it has Will Smith in it again.

I think it would be kind of cool to see how the world ended in their own way. The movie skipped around a lot from one day in the past to the present, It’d be nice to see what was in the middle. The disease getting into the free world, complete panic over the entire world, see what people did, how it effected families and cities.

I don’t really like the idea of a prequel to this film, it doesn’t sound like it would bring anything worthwhile to the table.

A Sequel would be an interesting idea however, but probably one of those direct-to-dvd releases.
