20th Century Fox and IGN UK have unleashed yet another new look at Avatar. And at this point I would normally say that we’ve reached a saturation point with clips, trailer and featurettes, but we must remember that this is a 19-hour movie (kidding, 3-hours). Plenty of footage to be mined without giving anything away. And rightfully so, as it’s taken James Cameron 17 years to make it.

This new featurette shows some perspective from the side of the humans, who have come to Pandora to mine a very precious mineral. Of course, the surface of Pandora is very dangerous and the indigenous people — the Na’vi — are none too receptive to human invasion. We see more of James Cameron’s vision through cast interviews with Sigourney Weaver, Sam Worthington, Giovanni Ribisi and the very menacing Stephen Lang.

Head over to IGN UK to watch the featurette, or check it out below courtesy of Trailer Addict. Avatar is in theaters on December 18, 2009.

Is it just me or do I see a double standard here? Millions of animals seem to attack the humans the moment they move but the natives can walk around with bows and arrows and survive every day with that low technology. And before someone says it I am talking about the humans walking in the woods not the exo skeletons and aricraft we see flying about in the trailer. Each time I see a new trailer the inconsistancies seem to mount.
