The trailer kinda sucks, so I thought it was gonna be really stupid…but then I watched, and I was like, HOLY CRAP. its GOOOOOD… we should all stop judging before actually seeing the movie, cuz currently its topping the box office with extremely positive reviews.

it has received extremely positive reviews from many renowned sites such as RT and Yahoo. I think you’re just trash talking because the cinematography in this movie is brilliant. Before dissing a movie, why dont u go WATCH it first?

Wow, I think it's time to remind someone that animation isn't just limited to Holy Wonder Of Pixar. Do you think all animation really has to like pixar? Does it really have to be like Disney? Just because it doesn't have the Pixar kiss means it will be instant crap, it just means it's a different style. After all maybe people like to go to movies just to enjoy the show and not have a cathardic moment involving kids toy's and bug-eyed automobiles. My suggestion it to step off the altar that is Disney and open your eyes and see animation as it started, as an art form with different styles and way to tell a story. Not just one way.

Can you give it a break. I admit Pixar movies are good. But that doesn't mean that all Dreamworks movies are bad. I just dont get it. Why is this “Hail Pixar and down Dreamworks” secret agenda. Don't you laugh in dreamworks movies, don't you get to enjoy it? Before even a movie is out….”Well if its dreamworks.. it sucks”… attitude is bad. Grow up

So far it looks like a good movie, but I wish that they would change the name to something else because the only thing it has nothing in common with the book other than the names of the people.

This is Chris Sanders' first movie since Lilo and Stitch. I hate those DreamWorks movies too, but if you're too hasty to judge this one this one, you're probably going to find yourself eating some crow in March

looks and sounds very cheap. poorly animated, terrible lighting, and the story seems lame. also kung fu panda doesnt hold up a year later. its another turb from the crap factory that dreamworks represents

These thoughts sound a lot like what people were saying just before Kung Fu Panda came out too. “Oh no, the recognizable Jack Black is voicing the Panda.” A lot of people enjoyed that so why not wait until this movie is released before you completely disregard it.

don't be so quick to dismiss it and stick it next to pixar the “golden child” like everyone always does, big woop, so they are not pixar. They make movies that kids enjoy, and that is what matters! Also, they have about HALF the time to animate that a pixar animator gets per shot, and the animation still looks awesome… “base-level animation” my ass.
