Universal Studios has released some new artwork featuring one of the fine-ass, sex-o-licious stars of next summer’s Hellboy II: The Golden Army. The sex-o-licious star in question? It ain’t Ron Perlman.

Selma Blair is returning as the pyrokinetic Liz Sherman in Hellboy II, due out July 11, 2008. You can see a lobby display design featuring Blair, front and center, at HellBoyMovie.com.

At the moment, can you think of any other superhero movie sequel that’s more highly anticpated than Hellboy II? Don’t say The Dark Knight or I will hurt you.

Hellboy is bigger than Jesus — and that’s no exaggeration. Remember how, in 2004, The Passion of the Christ held the No. 1 U.S. box office spot for umpteen weeks straight? Guess which movie knocked Passion from the top. Yeah, you know it. ‘Twas Hellboy. Is that a sad commentary on the state of our society? Or just fate playing a twisted joke? I’ll let you figure that one out. Right now, I’m too busy drooling over Sexy Selma.

Take a look below to see the new posters, one of Selma Blair as Liz Sherman and the other of Doug Jones as Abe Sapien.

Up For Discussion: What do you think, is Hellboy II: The Golden Army going to rock your world? Or are you not convinced?
