Your stupid Chris. Hostel days aren’t over. I bet you in a couple of years people will still be renting the hostel movies and you’ll see that the days aren’t over. It’s a horror classic.

I think hostel won’t be the same without the original director. Eli was the one who thought of this idea and made it become real and for somebody else to try and make as good a job will be stupid. Let’s just hope the new director will think alike to Eli and make this Hostel similar to the first.

I think that Hostel has a chance, like with everything, but it just depends on how good the new director takes it. Usually, if a movie goes straight to DVD, not even seeing the theaters, then that means its probably going to be not that good. Every movie I've seen that's gone straight to DVD has been quite bad except for The Grudge 3. That movie scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it.

I thought the two hostel fims were brilliant, by far his best work. I am a big Eli Roth fan & there's no way that a third film works without him writing or directing. I wouldn't mind seeing him do it, but I can certaninly respect the fact that he doesn't want to "ruin" it, in a sense.
