Fans are beginning to warm up to Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47 in the upcoming video adaptation Hitman. Is that a true statement? I can’t be sure. What I do know is that I am certainly beginning to warm to the idea now that I have seen the second trailer over at FirstShowing.net. Olyphant stars as the infamous 47, a bred killer-for-hire that gets caught up in a political conspiracy and ends up on the run. This one is going to be something along the lines of The Transporter in that it may focus less on “story” and more on badass gunplay. For that, we can only hope. And despite what you may think of Olyphant from his atrocious outings in movies such as Catch and Release and Dreamcatcher, the dude does look the part.

Also, starring alongside Olyphant is the very alluring Olga Kurylenko, who I saw earlier this year in Paris, je t’aime. She can be seen more in the new trailer as well as in the photo below:

Hitman is directed by Xavier Gens and has a recently updated release date of November 21 (moved from October 12).

On the Side: The most recent ‘Hitman’ poster can be seen below in all of its badassness… Enjoy.
