New Trailer For ‘Hisss’ Gives Rise To Trouser Snakes

I would apologize for the title of this post if it didn’t work so well with the trailer. See, it’s about a sexy as hell lady who transforms into a giant snake…
Title of the post makes sense now doesn’t it? Hisss stars Indian bombshell Mallika Sherawat as mythological snake woman capable of taking human form and Irrfan Khan (Slumdog Millionaire) as the policeman tasked with finding out whether or not she cheated on a game show. As you can see from the trailer the film looks to deliver both bloody violence and scaley sexiness. The very impressive snake effects and gore come courtesy of Robert Kurtzman, and the sexy comes courtesy of Khan.
Hisss is directed by Jennifer Lynch who previously made the poorly received 1993 film Boxing Helena. The film deserved to be shunned mostly for the insulting ending, but the negative response apparently drove Lynch into hiding for fifteen years. She finally reappeared in 2008 with the odd and disturbing thriller Surveillance and is now following that up with Hisss. Trailer thanks to Twitch.
