Because i’m an opinionated eighteen year old who loves movies and reads classic literature lol. Haven’t had the chance to get published yet…though i am in correspondence with an Australian author who has been published through Penguin books. Sorry if i’m too forceful, i guess i just don’t understand how people can enjoy this when there is so much beautiful writing out there.

Because it is a story. If you didnt like the books, enough said. You dont need to pick it all apart and act like you cant write better then Stephanie Meyer. If you can truly write better then her, where are your books that are number in the NY Times best sellers list. I would love to read them.

Here i have a question for you…why, if you were a thousand year old vampire who could stand atop the cathedral in Notre Dame or compete in every extreme sport because you can't die, decide to continually enroll himself in highschool and date a whiny immature clingy girl?
Btw…I can write 100 times better than her…how else could i tell how horribly cliched and unintelligent her writing style is?

I think the general outcome of the film was very good and close to the book. However, I think an improvement should definitely have been made on the music which lacked impact and feel Catherine Hardwicke would have done a better job. Although New Moon is more like the book than Twilight, it felt disjointed in places and less sensational.

The movie was watchable, with the exception of some cheesetastic parts. I would have liked the transistions to be better, the flow of the movie was not great. The acting is still choppy. Taylor Lautner did the best, he was the most believeable of the characters. Everything else was very surface acting. I still think that some parts like Rosalie and Jasper should have been cast better. As for special effects, they could have done a better job, it was definately CGI and you could tell, like when Alice and Bella are in the car. It could have been a really good movie, unfortunately it was very geared to the teen crowd. I really hope that the Eclipse director does a better job.

Honestly, I am going to have to agree because first of all, in my opinion they over-exaggerated the special effects, not only that, Robert Pattinson (Edward) did a horrible job, I could’nt beleave it, I did not want to. Kristen Stewart (Bella) did a fair job at her role when it came to feeling pain and what not, but honestly I felt that a child put this movie together!

I was so excited to see the movie but honestly I left feeling cheated. Although, it was very true to the book in actions none of the emotions from the book were really explored. I had no time to digest what was happening before going on to the next scene which made it feel choppy to me. My husband who didn’t read the book said the same thing so I don’t get impression that I was harder on the movie because I had the read the book. In fact I didn’t mind the slight changes they made at all, I just wish this movie could have gripped me in the same way Twilight did. My number one love of these books is the feeling(s) you get when you read them…I had none watching the movie…

Best part about New Moon:

*Anna Kendrick- A light in the tunnel. It’s sad when someone who coming in with an oscar buzz, and is the most talented out of the whole entire cast, is being under-utilized.

*Michael Sheen- God Bless that guy.

*More Action- Well, at least for 4-15 minutes than the first one.

Worst Part about New Moon: EVERYTHING!!!!! Bad Acting, too many sub plots, bad dialouge, Terrible catch phrase ending, ect…

They stook to the story line really well. And it was really boring. They had sucky affects,like it was all to fake. Like I mean the vampire and the werewolf thing is fake,but they made it like really stupid. It was really slow but they had good make up people. And may I saw,Robert Pattison is even hot. They should have more Jacob in it then Edward. But I came out of the movie with a FROWN on my face. My favoire part was actually when Bella slaped that guy and they had that fight. The FIRST Twilight movie was way better.

Honestly Friday I cut school to go see it. And well I thought New Moon was kinda slow. And it was really boring. I mean Jacob (Taylor) was really hot,trust me. But I was really disapointed. The acting was terrible and it was to depressing.

The CGI on the wolf pack could’ve been better at least; I thought the wolves looked too cute for some reason. I must have Underworld memories when I think of werewolf or American werewolf in LONDON-not paris!
Jacob was buff as hell, which every girl screamed when they saw him; I bought a Mens Health magazine to try his routine which seems decent.
I guess this was better than Twilight, but everyone talks about Eclipse being this action packed book, plus David Slade (yawn!) directing it so I guess we’re getting the quick-cut editing/shaky cam effect like in 30 DAYS OF NIGHT. Yeeesh!
Well, I guess more girls will be waiting for Eclipse but what happens when the juice goes dry for Twilight franchise??? They can’t possibly stretch this thing out any longer like Harry Potter. HP is one thing…Epic, not like Twilight which is basically a major-motion-miniseries. Looks like Summit has it’s golden goose, but have you seen the trailers for their other movies attached to New Moon? Garbage.
