Here’s Ten Seconds of Twilight: Eclipse; Please Contain Yourselves
Movie News By Neil Miller on March 10, 2010 | (9) CommentsAt this point, I feel like I’m making fun of this entire process. Perhaps I’m just trying to point out the absurdity of this marketing ploy — the releasing of a ten-second teaser that is teasing a teaser trailer which will go online tomorrow. It’s a little much, for any movie. The fact that it’s Twilight: Eclipse only makes it easier for the comment section below to get a little rowdy.
The following is a ten second blip on the map that is the road to the third Twilight movie, a little halfling scene that tells us nothing about the tone of the new movie, under the direction of 30 Days of Night helmer David Slade — which I still contend will be the best thing to ever happen to this franchise, from an outsider’s perspective. Although, I’m not sure that anyone at Summit is concerned with showing us what’s different about Eclipse just yet — they just want fans to know that Edward (Robert Pattinson), Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) are still there, and they’re still all twisted up in this broody love triangle. Here you go fans, here’s your moment:
The full trailer will be online tomorrow morning. And yes, we will have it for you right here at Twilight Lovers Anonymous Film School Rejects.
