Heigl Back in Love with ‘Knocked Up’

Posted by Cole Abaius (cole.abaius@filmschoolrejects.com) on December 12, 2007

With election season in full swing, it’s no surprise when news of someone ‘clarifying’ a statement hits the fan. So who is it this week? Mike Huckabee explaining he was anti-AIDS victims before he was pro-AIDS victims? Hillary Clinton claiming she was against the war before she went pro-anti-the war? Oprah Winfrey explaining she’s not Barack Obama?

Nope! It’s our very own Katherine Heigl, switching her PR machine into reverse and backing over her statements to Vanity Fair. Cinematical is reporting that Heigl is coloring over her negative comments about Knocked Up with rose colored crayons.

We couldn’t be happier that DC tactics are now in lovely LA. With just a clarifying phone call, what was once “a little sexist” is now “the best filming experience of my career”! Viola! Crisis averted! Now, can we all go back to watching Grey’s Anatomy with the sound off, please?

Talking Points: Are you still in love with Katherine Heigl?

As the writer of the original trash article on this site I just have to call Shenanigans yet again. This time not on Heigl but on Vanity Fair for pulling cheap interviewing tactics to try and make her stumble. Though she did say, if I remember, “It was hard to love” the experience of filming Knocked Up, so I still don’t know what to believe.

Sparky says:

In the original Vanity Fair article she also said 98% of it was an amazing experience. Katherine has also said numerous times it was the best filming experience of her career - both before, during and after the movie was release and long before the Vanity Fair article. She has not changed her opinion or backtracked in anyway. She made it clear she felt some of the female characterisation was sexist..that was it..it wasn’t a big bash or slam of the movie which she has said many times was fantastic and she was very grateful for.

Carlisle says:

Who cares. Seriously who is this chick?

Kevin Carr says:

I’ll be in love with her when she finally does her Hustler spread we’ve all been waiting for.

Tara says:

Her character on Grey’s annoys me.
