Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace

A while back, we made Quantum of Solace our top pick for the Must-See Remaining Movies of 2008, propelled mostly by how awesome the current James Bond is and by the constant stream of leaked videos, trailers, title songs and gritty, revenge-filled photos.

Since it’s been a month, the production has released some new videos to keep us on the edge of our seat, but instead of showing us some gunfire, fistfights or some revenge-filled explosions, these videos seem to show that Bond, James Bond has turned to the bottle and denying his love for Vesper. A little emo. Maybe, a little too emo, but you can be the judge of that:

Downing whiskey? Reaching for the wine bottle? Swimming in passive-aggressiveness? I’m guessing M will have to have an intervention before the end of the movie’s revenge-filled run time.

James, we’re doing this because we love you.

What do you think? Are these clips a missing some bon bons and tissue or do they ensure a killing spree brought on by repressed anger and a wicked hangover?
