He Can’t Read Your Mind, But McLovin Does ‘Kick Ass’

Our neighbors over at AICN have posted a brand new poster for Kick-Ass, the comic adaptation from director Matthew Vaughn that is said to actually kick serious ass. This one features Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad) as Red Mist, a dude with a sweet ride and an attitude. And that’s what we get from the poster, which can be seen in its totality by clicking the image above. In my opinion, this poster fits in with the first poster of Aaron Johnson as the film’s title character. Kick-Ass, the character, is the beaten, bruised hero, whereas Red Mist is sort of a bit more vain about his alter-egoism. This serves as yet another fun character poster that will speak to fans, but doesn’t work as a stand-alone marketing vehicle.
For some real badass Kick-Ass marketing, behold the trailer below.
