Hayden Panettiere Was Already On Our ‘Kiss List’
In Production By Neil Miller on April 2, 2008 | (24) Comments
Last year, somewhere around (but certainly after) her 18th birthday, we professed our undying love for Hayden Panettiere, the “Heroes” cheerleader that has captured the hearts of just about every dude in the 18-30 demographic by constantly finding ways to be sexy without being, well, Audrina Patridge or Paris Hilton. She is wholesome, smiley and well, she plays a cheerleader in everything — what is there not to love?
I tell you that story to tell you this one: Fox Atomic has acquired the novel “Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List” and will develop it as a vehicle for the “Heroes” starlet, who is also currently working on Atomic’s I Love You Beth Cooper with director Chris Columbus.
The book comes from authors Rachel Cohn and David Levithan, whose past work “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist” was recently adapted for the screen by Mandate Pictures and Sony with Michael Cera and Kat Dennings in the lead roles. “Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List” takes place in Manhattan, where Naomi and her gay best friend Ely protect their soulmate friendship by creating a list of people deemed off limits for smooching. Their friendship is imperiled when Ely kisses Naomi’s boyfriend.
As far as we can tell, Panettiere will play Naomi. From there, we’ve got no other information. In fact, the only reason we are reporting this is because of our previously documented affection for Ms. Panettiere. As well, we can imagine that the only reason you are reading this is to see what images we threw into this article. So here you go:
