Harvey DentHow cool is this? Harvey Dent, the man we know as the only hope for Gotham City, might be rolling through your quaint little urban area soon.

The new viral campaign for The Dark Knight has swung into full gear with the expansion of Mr. Dent’s campaign website.

You can download campaign posters, upload photos of your friends getting the word out, and sign up to get updates from the road.

In a stroke of genius, the site is designed not with platforms and donation pages, but as a citizen’s call to get Harvey to run for District Attorney of Gotham. With even more genius, they include a page of what you can do – plaster walls with posters, spread campaign materials, display signs in dorm windows – and, of course, while you’re stumping for Dent, you’re also advertising for The Dark Knight. For free.

The site itself looks like the Republican version of the earlier Joker-themed viral – instead of artistic, vandalized newspapers and ransom notes, it’s a red, white and blue vomit of patriotism.

I’m anxious to find out what they’ll be doing if they actually come to a city near me, and as soon as I get updates, I’ll share them with the Reject Nation.

You can hit the road with Harvey Dent or if you believe, visit the main campaign site and sign a petition or two.
