Fanboy Alert! Harry Potter Will Bare All In Next Performance

Ten million fanboy and fangirl hearts started beating much faster with the news that Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe will be playing the lead role in Peter Shaffer’s highly praised but controversial play Equus. The reason to be excited for any Radcliffe fan is that Equus does feature a scene of nudity from the performances lead charachter, Alan Strang. The stage performance will also feature fellow Harry Potter actor Richard Griffiths.

Personally, Equus is one of my favorite plays. Don’t trust some of the more vague descriptions of the play you will hear. I have already heard that the play is about naked horse riding. The play is more about a teenage boy’s obsession with horses and sexual frustration, and the events that lead him to commit a violent crime. Griffiths will play Alan Strang’s troubled doctor Martin Dysart.
