i loved the movie i just wish it was longer by like another hour or so if your going to make a movie like harry potter from the book you need to do it right. dont get me wrong he is a great director and did a great job it just they left out alot of details like tom riddles mother being muggle and the more details about the horcuxes and the battle at the end i mean really your going to leave that out?! so take this advise and make it more detailed for the last horrah let it go out with a bang! make it 3 hours long or more do the two parts add the details we are all expecting and let us remeber this last movie like its supposed to be !

Cool…I just hope they don't postpone the release dates again.

I really like the idea. Also making it a travelling movie will really open up their potential for gorgeous cinematography. They've always had it, but now they can shoot at places without computer generated castles and what not.

The books (and correspondingly, the movies) have been held in one main locale, this will be a great chance to explore the rest of the wizard's world.

Sounds excellent. I bet part II is epic as hell.

The concept is eccentric in all aspects, and though I'll be attending both parts I & II, the first film has a monumental chance of, for lack of a better word, failing. Okay, a few Death Eaters catch up with them here and there, but part I could ultimately fall in the large shadow part II will cast.

With how the book is set up, that's really pretty fitting.

The first half of the book, minus the elaborate wedding, is really fairly low key in Harry Potter terms. The second half, on the other hand, is epic in every sense of the word. If Yates pulls of HBP like you said he did, then the battle of Hogwarts could be (wait for it) magical to watch on screen.
