The Hobbit

There’s no question that Guillermo Del Toro can handle the heavy task of continuing J.R.R. Tolkien’s tale of Middle-Earth. But how will he stay under the 150 million dollar budget with all the money it takes to pay for special effects, talented actors (you know Doug Jones will be in it), and makeup applications to give everyone hairy feet? Looks like he will ask Lord of the Rings fans to help.

MTV.com interviewed the Hellboy 2 director and even got him to answer a few questions from the fans, including one question that will give Hobbit fans a heart attack:

Mike Moore (Not the director, that’d be awkward) asked ” Who do I have to sleep with to get a role as an extra?”

“Oh my god, well that’s a good question only in that it’s asked often,” del Toro replied. “But I believe as the film comes to happen, in either of the two films, fans have a good chance of being there.”

“Sleep with a lot of people if you can! That’s a very good piece of advice. But don’t bribe anyone. It will be wasted money,” del Toro joked.

Hmm, could the Hobbit come with the tagline “Bilbo and Gollum Make a Porno?” Watch the rest of the hilarious answer del Toro gives below.

Would you make out with Guillermo Del Toro for a role in The Hobbit?
