Dwayne Johnson and Steve Carell in Get Smart

When you think of Dwayne Johnson, what do you think of? Personally if I didn’t know any better, I would probably be wondering who the hell Dwayne Johnson was. And for those who are not in the look, Dwayne Johnson is the man who formally was known as “The Rock”, WWE wrestler turned badass movie star.

Since his jump to movies, we have watched him come into his own on the big screen, from becoming The Scorpion King to Walking Tall and trying to just Be Cool, The Rock has made a place for himself as a big, tough dude who can deliver the comedy. When it comes to wrestlers turned actors, The Rock is the man who seems to have risen up and taken hold of the title.

And now as just Dwayne Johnson, he continues to spread his thespian wings under the watchful eye of Tommy Boy director Peter Segal. Segal chose him as his Agent 23 in the big screen adaptation of Get Smart, which hits theater on June 20. To see a little bit more about Agent 23 and his dominant personality, check out the brand new featurette below:

As well, Johnson will follow Segal into another cinematic endeavor, the long-awaited Shazaam film, where he is currently attached to play Black Adam. Any hardcore comic geek will tell you that Johnson is nearly perfect for such as role.

And speaking of following Pete Segal around — Johnson will also be following him around to some Los Angeles area Apple Stores. In fact, they won’t be the only ones. Check out the details below for when and where you might be able to stalk some of the stars of Get Smart:

So you see, not only can you pay homage to Steve Jobs (you know you want to), but you could possibly meet Steve Carell as well. That is two Steves for the price of one. I don’t know about you, but I would consider that a bargain.

As for Get Smart, I already mentioned that I am excited about it and that it hits theaters on June 20th. There is also a new trailer out this week, which can be seen below:

    Ps.....
The short lived 90's version of Get Smart, with Don Adams and Andy Dick just came out on Dvd. I'm allmost positive it will be better than this new film.
