twitter-oscars

Anyone paying attention knows that I am way into Twitter, a phenomenon that much of the rest of the staff here at FSR doesn’t either care about or understand. But I’m proud of my connection to the social media world — there are good people out there. That, and Twitter can be a lot of fun. And speaking of Twitter and fun, you may also remember that the FSR crew Live-Tweeted the Academy Awards ceremony, posting our reactions and discussing back and forth as the night rolled on. And as the alcohol began to take effect, the commentary became more and more interesting.

And this year we are going to be participating again, but we are doing it a little differently. The folks at CineVegas — a fine film festival that we hope to attend soon — have put together a special webpage over at CVTwt.com that tracks the terms “oscars,” “academy awards” and the special hashtag “#aa09″. By tracking this page, you can stay current with updates and reactions from the entire Twitter universe. Pretty cool, eh?

Are you on Twitter? If so, feel free to follow me over at twitter.com/rejects or follow our news feed at twitter.com/rejectnation. Also, drop your Twitter profile link in the comment area below and we will be sure to follow you.
